Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has dismissed the news on social media about postal ballot papers as false and baseless.
According to the Election Commission, false and rumors about postal ballot papers are being spread on all over social media, the number of postal ballot papers of candidates is being written in the false news.
Election Commission stated that this is a misleading propaganda, that postal ballots are counted in the presence of election agents during official counting, after which the ballot papers are added to the final result.
It should be noted that today (Tuesday) is the last day of the election campaign for the election to be held on February 8, the delivery of 26 crore ballot papers for the election has also been completed.
