Independent candidates win national, provincial seats of Mianwali
In PP-88 Mianwali independent candidate Malik Mumtaz was successful by getting 67,485 votes.
Mianwali: In general elections 2024, millions of people in Pakistan exercised their right to vote to elect their representatives in the four provincial assemblies including the National Assembly of the country. After the polling process ended at 5:00pm, the counting of votes started, but the process of announcing the election results is still underway.
According to the unofficial and inconclusive results, Jamal Ahsan, an independent candidate from Constituency NA-89 Mianwali, won by securing 2,17,427 votes, while Ubaidullah of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) came second with 34,068 votes.
From constituency NA-90 Mianwali, independent candidate Umair Niazi won with 179,820 votes, while PML-N's Humair Hayat was second with 51,223 votes.
Independent candidate Ahmed Khan won from PP-87 Mianwali by getting 177,056 votes while independent candidate Malik Sajjad Bhachar is second with 15,454 votes.
In PP-88 Mianwali independent candidate Malik Mumtaz was successful by getting 67,485 votes while Muslim League-N's Feroze Joya was second with 59,296 votes.
