Bilawal says he isn’t candidate for PM office
The PPP chairman says his party is not interested in becoming part of the federal government or the federal cabinet but they will vote to the PM candidate if the PML-N forms the government.
Islamabad: Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that he is not the candidate for the prime minister office.
“I cannot present myself for the prime minister office because the PPP does not have majority,” said Bilawal Bhutto Zardari while addressing a press conference in Islamabad on Tuesday.
The PPP chairman said that the PTI’s announcement made it clear that it could not form the government in the given situation.
He said that they would not demand the ministries but said that they would exercise their vote to the PML-N’s candidate for the prime minister office if they formed the government.

“The PPP is not interested in federal government,” he added.
The PPP chairman mentioned the challenges including the climate change being faced by Pakistan.
“We will form a committee to engage with other political parties to establish political stability,” said Bilawal.
He said that if the political crisis continued there would be a loss to the country, and they would form the committee to steer the country out of the political crises.
He said that there would be re-election if all the parties failed to form the government under the law. Bilawal said that in this election like the previous ones, there were allegations of rigging.
He urged all the political parties to sit together to find out the deficiencies took place during this election.
