Earlier, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan and the President of Iran also congratulated Shehbaz Sharif on his election as Prime Minister.
It is pertinent to note that Shehbaz Sharif took oath as the 24th Prime Minister of Pakistan yesterday and he has held this position for the second time.
Earlier, he held the post of Prime Minister for about 16 months in the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) coalition.
