PHC should also issue order in this regard.


Peshawar: The Peshawar High Court (PHC) has issued notices to federal government, Pakistan telecommunication authority (PTA) and sought response on blocking ‘X’ till next hearing.
According to the details, a bench consisted on justice Ejaz Anwar and justice Waqar Ahmed heard the case.
Applicant’s lawyer asked that ‘X’ was blocked but the reason was not told that why it happened and stopped the people from gaining information.
Justice Waqar Ahmed inquired that why was ‘X’ blocked when the Sindh High court (SHC) issued an order regarding that matter now what do you want.
Applicant’s lawyer replied that SHC’s order is within the limit of province. PHC should also issue order in this regard.
Justice Waqar said that this was done by federal government and the SHC’s order is for all the country.
However, court sought response from the government and concerned officials in this matter.
