Islamabad: The power division companies have asked trillion rupees for the year 2024-2025 for which the applications have been submitted of multi air tariff in National Electric Power Regulatory authority (NEPRA).
According to the details, Quetta electric supply company appealed for more than Rs236 billion, Gujranwala electric supply company has asked Rs313 billion and Multan electric supply company has asked Rs160 billion for the year 2024-25.
Peshawar electric supply company has appealed Rs67 billion, Sukkhar’s electric company has asked Rs35 million and Taxco power supply company has asked Rs92 billion for the year 2024-25.
In these pleas, salaries, luxuries and benefits after retirement are included whereas the money has been asked in favor of operation and maintenance cast including Wallington charges.
However, NEPRA will be hearing the pleas of power division companies on April 2 and 3.
