The average retail price of cement per sack recorded in Lahore was Rs1280.


Lahore: A slight decrease was recorded in the retail price of cement in the country during the last week.
According to the statistics released by Pakistan Bureau of Statistics, the average retail price of cement per bag in the northern regions of the country was recorded at Rs1229 in the week ending March 28, which is 0.08% lower than the previous week.
Similarly, in the week ending March 28, the average retail price of cement per sack was recorded at Rs1205 in the southern regions of the country. According to statistics, during the last week, the average retail price of cement per sack in Islamabad was Rs1210, Rawalpindi was Rs1199 and Gujranwala was Rs1250.
The average retail price of cement per sack recorded in Sialkot was Rs1250, Lahore Rs1280, Faisalabad Rs1250, Sargodha Rs1230, Multan Rs1234, Bahawalpur Rs1250, Peshawar Rs1201 and Bannu was Rs1180.
Similarly, the average retail price of cement per sack in Karachi was Rs1171, Hyderabad Rs1180, Sukkur Rs1300, Larkana Rs1173, Quetta Rs1210 and in Khuzdar the average retail price of cement per sack was Rs1197.
