President Zardari to summon senate’s session on April 9
However, Pakistan Peoples party (PPP) has become the biggest party while having 24 seats in senate
Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari will summon senate’s session by April 9 on 9am.
According to the details, new elected members will take oath and chairman, deputy chairman senate elections will be held in this senate’s session. However, Pakistan Peoples party (PPP) has become the biggest party while having 24 seats in senate.
On the other hand, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) are on second number while both parties having 19,19 senators with them.
It should be noted that PPP nominated Yousaf Raza Gilani for the post of chairman senate.
