Peshawar: 21 people were killed and 32 got injured in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa due to continuous rains for four days.
Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has released a report on the damage caused by rains in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the report, 21 people were killed and 32 injured in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa due to the continuous rains for four days, while nine children and three women are also among the dead.
Apart from this, 330 incidents of walls and roofs falling in different districts took place, 53 houses were completely damaged and 277 houses were partially damaged.
According to PDMA, following the instructions of the Chief Minister, relief cheques are being distributed among the rain victims and relief materials have also been provided.
The relief supplies include 200 tents, 100 kitchen sets, 200 blankets, while 100 mats, 200 mosquito nets and 200 mattresses have been given to the victims, added the report.
