It should be noted that Punjab government was supposed to start the procurement of wheat from April 22.


Islamabad: Prime minister Shehbaz Sharif has ordered the federal government to immediately buy the wheat from the farmers by taking the notice on the complains of them.
Shehbaz Sharif increased the target of buying wheat of federal government from 14,00000 to 18,00000 metric ton. He also directed to give priority to facilitate the farmers and transparency to PASCO for buying wheat.
However, he took this initiative by overseeing the difficulties regarding from buying the wheat by farmers. Amid this situation the farmers were forced to sell the wheat on the roads of the city.
It should be noted that Punjab government was supposed to start the procurement of wheat from April 22.
