Abbottabad: In an unfortunate incident, six people including women and children were killed and five were injured due to an accident in Abbottabad.
According to the rescue officials, the accident took place in Bukot Nimbal within the premises of Bukot police station. Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Guliyat said that two daughters-in-law and wife of Master Rashid are among the deceased.
The condition of the injured is also serious, all the injured have been shifted to Muzaffarabad Hospital.
Talking about the accident, the local elders stated that the driver lost control of the jeep and it fell into the ditch. The dead and injured persons were returning home after shopping at Kalian Market when they met with an accident.
It is pertinent to note that due to the dilapidated condition of the Bukot Nimble Road, accidents have become common here while the local administration is playing the role of a silent spectator.
