Imran’s conspiracies to harm Pakistan’s foundations will fail: Tarar

Islamabad: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar Monday said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan wants to undermine the foundations of the country, none of their plans will succeed.

While addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Federal Minister stated that we do not need aid, but trade and investment. Wherever Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif goes, he says that we need investment.

He added that seven desks have been established under Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIF) to attract investment from  Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, China, European Union, the US and Far East.

“The investors of friendly countries are expressing their satisfaction over the one-window facility being provided by the SIFC,” continued Tarar.

He further said the UAE has announced to make ten billion dollars investment in Pakistan while there is also progress of bringing five billion dollar investment from Saudi Arabia. He was confident that these investments will materialize.

The Information Minister also stated that Shehbaz Sharif will also visit China in a few days to give impetus to China-Pakistan Economic Corridor project (CPEC).

Attaullah Tarar said the country's economy is taking off. The Current Account Deficit and inflation have declined while IT exports are witnessing surge. He pointed out that the world financial institutions are also acknowledging our economic revival.

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) delegation has also issued a positive press release from here, the inflation has decreased by 17 percent in a few days, foreign exchange reserves are increasing, added Attaullah .

He continued to say that the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is privatizing fast and the economy is taking off. On the other hand, there is a propaganda going on, these are people who say that if Imran Khan is not there, then there is no Pakistan, they are serving their political interests. Pakistan's interests are at stake.
