SHO issued arrest warrants for not submitting record in Ejaz Chaudhary’s cases
The counsel for the PTI leader tells court that the police have failed to provide record in eight cases registered against his client
Lahore: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Saturday issued arrest warrants for Station House Officer of the relevant police station for not submitting record in eight cases related to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Ejaz Ahmad Chaudhary.
Admin Judge Khalid Arshad passed the order while hearing the bail petitions moved by Ejaz Ahmad Chaudhary in the said cases.
During the proceedings, Advocate Mian Ali Ashfaq argued that the police could not submit record in the eight cases so far.
Ejaz Ahmad Chaudhary was booked in eight cases including the case of Jinnah House, Askari T0ower attack and burning Shadman police station.
After hearing the arguments of the counsel for the accused, the court sought record from the police, issued arrest warrants for the SHO concerned as well as the investigation officer and adjourned further hearing till June 4.
