The opposition leader in Lok Sabha criticizes the BJP leaders for spreading hatred, fear, and violence

New York: Indian opposition leader and Congress member Rahul Gandhi while addressing Lok Sabha recited Darood Sharif on the Holy Prophet (PBUH) on Tuesday.
While sending blessings on the Holy Prophet (PBUH), he emphasized that all great personalities have advocated for non-violence, the elimination of fear, and have urged people not to be afraid.
Gandhi said that the Quran promoted fearlessness.
In his address, Gandhi criticized the BJP leaders for spreading hatred, fear, and violence. He noted that although BJP leaders claim to be Hindus, they simultaneously propagate hatred.
Rahul Gandhi's statement provoked anger among BJP members, leading Prime Minister Modi to assert that the opposition leader had accused the entire Hindu community of violence.
Narendra Modi demanded an apology from Rahul Gandhi for his remarks. In response, Gandhi clarified that Narendra Modi and the RSS do not represent the entire Hindu society.
He reiterated that the BJP continuously spreads fear and fosters violence and hatred.
