Motive for shooting is not yet known

Lahore: A Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) local leader and owner of a private hospital was shot dead in Lahore on Friday, witnesses and police said.
Dr Shahid Siddique Khan was going to offer his Jumma Prayer when unidentified assailants approached him in Valencia Town and opened fire. The victim suffered gunshot wounds and was taken to Jinnah Hospital where he succumbed to his wounds.
The motive for the shooting is not yet known. The body was shifted for autopsy and an investigation had been launched.
