Rawalpindi: The Lahore High Court (LHC) Rawalpindi bench on Wednesday rejected a report submitted by the CPO Rawalpindi regarding the disappearance of the released accused in the murder case of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto.
During the hearing, the court stressed that all accused must be present before further legal proceedings can continue. Notably, no representative of the late Gen Pervez Musharraf, who was also implicated in the case, was there.
The bench also demanded a comprehensive report on the circumstances surrounding the accused's release and their subsequent disappearance. Following this, the court indefinitely adjourned further hearings of the case.
