The authority has given July 8 deadline to the airlines to resolve the problems of passengers and otherwise face action.

The airlines have been advised to make it sure that all passengers be refunded their fares within stipulated period of time.

The airlines have also been asked to make arrangements for temporary stay and as early flights for Pakistanis coming from different destinations.

The airlines issued notices are Emirates Airline, Qatar Airways, Turkish airline, Ittehad and Flydubai

Earlier in the day, the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) said the CAA has taken strong exception to the flight cancellation by some global airlines.

“Cancellation of flights despite issuance of clear instructions has created enormous problems for passengers travelling to Pakistan,” said the NCOC.
