Opening match of tri-African series between Pakistan, New Zealand today

Lahore: The Tri-Nation Series between Pakistan, New Zealand, and South Africa will start today (Saturday).

The first match of the tri-nation series will be played between Pakistan and New Zealand at the Gaddafi Stadium today.

On Friday, the tri-nation series trophy was also unveiled along with the captains of the three teams. Before the match, New Zealand practiced in Lahore.

Kiwi captain Mitchell Santner posed for a picture with the trophy and said that the tri-nation series is important before the Champions Trophy. This was the first time he had come to Lahore, and the Gaddafi Stadium looked very good.

On the other hand, Babar Azam and Fakhar Zaman will start the innings in the final XI of the national team to open the tri-nation series against New Zealand.

It is also reported that other players will include Kamran Ghulam, Muhammad Rizwan, Tayyab Tahir, Salman Agha, and Khushdil Shah, while Shaheen Afridi, Naseem Shah, Haris Rauf and Abrar Ahmed will be part of the bowling attack.
