Pakistani team will bat first in match being played at Wellington Regional Stadium


Wellington: New Zealand defeated Pakistan by 8 wickets in the last match of the T20 series.
The Kiwis won the toss and decided to field against Pakistan. Batting first, the national team scored 128 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.
In response, the Kiwi batsmen batted brilliantly and achieved the target of 129 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in 10 overs.
In this match played at the Wellington Regional Stadium, the Pakistani openers failed and both returned to the pavilion with a total score of 23 runs.
Hassan Nawaz had to return to the pavilion for a duck while Mohammad Haris had to return to the pavilion for 11 runs. After that, Umair Bin Yousuf and Usman Khan both got out after scoring 7 runs each. Abdul Samad 4, Shadab 28, Jehandad 1, Salman Ali Agha 51 while Safyan Muqim and Mohammad Ali could only score a duck. Haris Rauf remained unbeaten on 6 runs.
For New Zealand, James Neesham (Jimmy Neesham) took five wickets, while Jacob Duffy took two, Ben Sears and Ish Sodhi took one wicket each.
It is pertinent to note that fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi has been dropped from the team, and Umair Bin Yousuf, Usman Khan, Jehandad Khan, Sufyan Muqim, and Muhammad Ali have joined the Pakistan team.
The national team includes captain Salman Ali Agha, Hassan Nawaz, Shadab Khan, and Haris Rauf.
