PAK vs ENG: Major blow for Pakistan as Hasan Ali ruled out due to leg strain
Lahore: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed that star player Hassan Ali will not take part in the first T20I against England after suffering an injury.
Hassan suffered leg strain which has ruled him out of action for the first T20I, scheduled to be played today (Friday), at Trent Bridge.
It is being interpreted as a setback for the Pakistan cricket team as fast bowler will not be a part of the playing XI.
Reportedly, the fast bowler has been rested for the first of the three T20Is against England as a precautionary measure due to a strain in his left leg.
He encountered the strain during a training session at Trent Bridge on Thursday.
Pakistan pacer will be further assessed ahead of the 2nd T20 on July 18 and a call will be taken on participation depending on the situation.
