Karachi: The University of Karachi has cancelled the law degree of Justice Tariq Mahmood Jahangiri of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) and imposed a three-year ban on him.
According to a statement issued by the University of Karachi, the LLB result and degree of Tariq Mahmood, son of Qazi Muhammad Akram, have been cancelled.
The notification states that the student has also been banned for three years for using unfair means.
The notification issued by the University of Karachi also states that the student has been barred from taking admission in any university or college and from taking exams.
According to the notification, Tariq Mahmood was never a regular student of Islamia Law College Karachi.
