PPP's Barrister Murtaza Wahab appointed Karachi administrator
The Sindh government Thursday appointed adviser to the chief minister, Barrister Murtaza Wahab, as Karachi administrator.
A notofication has been issued by the provincial local government secretary.
Wahab, who is is the son of former PPP leader (late) Fauzia Wahab, is currently serving as adviser to Sindh chief minister on Law, Environment, Climate Change & Coastal Development Department. He would continue with his previous portfolio.
Sources said Wahanab had been given the new portfolio on the wish of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. The provincial cabinet had earlier gave approval to appoint Wahab as Karachi adminsitrator on July 17, 2021.
