ISI Chief confers with Taliban on border management and evacuation of foreign nationals
Kabul: The Director General of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Lieutenant General Faiz Hameed met the Taliban Representatives in Kabul to discuss the matters pertaining to the safe evacuation of foreign nationals, border management and regional security.


ISI chief alongside the Pakistani Ambassador to Afghanistan Mansoor Ahmed Khan and his team put joint efforts to smoothen the transit through the Pakistani borders.
Since the fall of Kabul, Pakistan has corroborated the evacuation process from the war-torn country.
It is apt to note here that Pakistan has shouldered many countries insofar in their withdrawal and will not dither in future too.
As per local media, the ISI head discussed the Pak-Afghan security, economy, and trade relations with the Taliban representatives
Sources claimed that officials from both sides asserted that the reports floating in the Western Media regarding the huge influx of Afghan Refugees into Pakistan are “incorrect.”
Pakistan has always extended a helping hand in the reconstruction of Afghanistan and will continue to do the same.
