Four FC soldiers, Levies SI martyred in North Waziristan attack
North Waziristan: Four soldiers of Frontier Corps and a Levies Sub-Inspector were martyred after some terrorists attacked the vehicle of security forces in Spinwam area of North Waziristan on Saturday, the Inter-Services Public Relations said.
Havaldar Ishaq, Havaldar Zahid, Lance Laik Abdul Majeed and Lance Naik Wali were among the martyred. Sub-Inspector Javed also lost his life in the attack.
Accoridng to ISPR, a special clearance operation is continuing to eliminate terrorists from the area.
Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar expressed deep sense of sorrow over the incident.
On Thursday, a Pakistan Army captain was martyred during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Tank, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, against Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) terrorists.
