Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday said that the Billion Tree project must be successful to ease the effects of climate change, sadly Pakistan in the list of those 10 countries that are badly affected by climate change.

According to the details, while addressing a launching ceremony of the Spring Tree Plantation campaign under ten billion tree tsunami in Ghazi Barotha, the premier said that trees are extremely important for the healthy future of Pakistan and asked youth to protect trees.
No attention was given to the forestry in Pakistan during the tenure of previous governments, he added.
Providing grounds and stadiums for the youth to play is one of the top priorities of PTI government as he aims to promote sports in Pakistan.
Talking about the health insurance, Imran Khan said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has already become the first province to provide universal health coverage and entire Punjab will be covered by health insurance by the year-end.
The Prime Minister said it has been government’s policy to give priority to local people for jobs in ventures established in their area.
Taking a jibe at the opposition, Imran Khan said that in the past, the corrupt people not only stole public money but also ruined principles. “Corruption was not being treated as a bad practice,” and added that the money laundering of the past rulers plunged the country into the burden of heavy debts.
Responding to demand raised by SAPM on climate change Malik Amin Aslam, PM announced setting up of Special Technology zone at Kamra.
The SAPM thanked the prime minister for approving delivery of gas to 35 villages of the area from where natural gas is being extracted as priority right. He said a regional campus of Allama Iqbal Open University and a mother-child hospital are also being established in Attock to facilitate people of the area.
