Track & Trace System to add billions of revenue to exchequer, says PM while appreciating efforts of FBR
Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan has appreciated the role of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) for developing the IT-enabled Transformation Plan and procuring Track & Trace System.

Taking to twitter, PM was of the view that once fully functional in July 2021, the Track & Trace System System would add hundreds “of billions of additional revenue, curb counterfeiting and help establish rule of law.”
Imran Khan also appreciated the role FBR for achieving its seven months revenue targets and anti-smuggling measures.
“I commend FBR Field Formations on achieving 7-months revenue targets by undertaking bold tax audit and enforcement, and counter-smuggling measures. They must continue working with honesty and commitment,” PM wrote on twitter.
Also commend FBR Headoffice Team for developing the IT-enabled Transformation Plan & procuring cutting-edge Track & Trace System. Once fully functional in July 2021, it would add 100s of billions of additional revenue, curb counterfeiting and help establish rule of law.
