PM urges Int’l community to avert ‘humanitarian disaster’ in Afghanistan
Khan stressed that now the World Food Program (WFP) Chief has also issued an alert.
Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said the international community has a moral obligation to avert humanitarian disaster in Afghanistan.
On his official twitter handle, the Premier shared a BBC report titled as “Afghans facing ‘hell on Earth’ as winter looms”.
“I have been warning of this humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan,” the caption read.
Khan stressed that now the World Food Program (WFP) Chief has also issued an alert.
He further added that Pakistan will continue to provide all possible relief to the neighboring country but international community must also act now.
