Lahore: A girl was shot dead by her father for honour near Shalimar in Lahore on Wednesday.

The accused who was enraged by his daughter’s love affair allegedly strangled her to death at home.
“According to him, he took the extreme step for the family’s honour,” said police.
Police shifted the body to the morgue for autopsy and registered a case against victim’s father, Akram.
