Jhelum police arrest mother for 'killing three children over poverty'

Jhelum: Police have arrested a woman who allegedly killed her three children aged between 2-5 in Hiranpur village of Pind Dadan Khan and tried to kill herself too.  

The Punjab police chief took notice of the tragic incident and sought a report from the Rawalpindi police chief.

He has directed Jhelum district police chief to investigate all aspects of the incident and meet the requirements of justice.

The woman killed her kids reportedly after being depressed over poverty. She also got injured in life attempt. The woman's husband is a rickshaw driver.
