OGRA recommends Rs10.27 per litre hike in petrol prices
Price of high speed diesel has been proposed to increase by Rs13.39
Islamabad: The federal government fell another petrol bomb on the people as the Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) on Monday recommended 10.27 per litre hike in the prices of petroleum products.
According to the details, the OGRA sent a summary of the increase in petrol price by Rs10.27 per litre to the Prime Minister's House.
It is proposed to hike the price of kerosene by Rs11.34 per litre and light diesel by Rs11.35 per litre. The price of high speed diesel has been proposed to increase by Rs13.39.
Sources said that the Prime Minister's House has received the summary of OGRA and the prime minister did not approve the recommendation of the OGRA of increase in prices of petroleum products till now.
After the approval of Prime Minister Imran Khan, the Ministry of Finance will issue a notification. It will be from 12 o'clock at night.
