Islamabad: US Foreign Minister Antony Blinken made a phone call to Pakistan's Foreign Minister, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, resulting in fruitful reaffirmation of the Pak-US partnership.

Blinken asserted that Pakistan's economic success remains a top priority for the United States.

He stated that the US will maintain communication with Pakistan through technical, developmental, trade, and investment channels.

Blinken also extended a warm welcome to Pakistan's approval of the program supported by the International Monetary Fund.

Antony Blinken reiterated the US's unwavering support for a productive, democratic, and contented partnership with Pakistan.

The phone call between Blinken and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari discussed Pakistan's economic revival and mutual regional security concerns, particularly focusing on Afghanistan.

He emphasized that democratic principles and the rule of law are central to the relationship between Pakistan and the US.

Acknowledging the tremendous losses suffered by the Pakistani people due to terrorist attacks, he pledged to continue partnering with Pakistan in its fight against terrorism.
