Romania: Russia launched an airstrike targeting a port near the Danube River in Romania, where grain warehouses belonging to Ukraine were hit by drone attacks.

According to international media reports, the drone attacks conducted by Russia resulted in the destruction of grain warehouses, passenger terminals, and loading facilities used by Ukraine.

Reports suggest that Russia has escalated its attacks on Ukrainian assets following the breakdown of a deal to transport grains through the Black Sea.

The airstrikes on the port were carried out on Wednesday, inflicting significant damage on the grain storage facilities.

In response to the continuous aggression by Russia, the President of Romania strongly condemned the series of attacks on Ukraine and deemed them unacceptable.

The Ukrainian Air Force reported that Russian drones were spotted over the Dniester River heading towards the Danube region, where two major Ukrainian ports, Odesa and Reni, are located.

Local authorities in Odesa have confirmed that emergency services are operating in the region following the recent Russian attacks.

However, there have been no reports of casualties at this time.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed his concern and sorrow over the escalating hostilities, as the region faces mounting hardships due to the attacks.

As tensions continue to rise in the region, the international community remains vigilant, closely monitoring the situation for any further developments
