The Supreme Court issued notices to the trial lawyers on the appeal of the federal government.


Islamabad: The intra-court appeal filed by the federal government against National Accountability Bureau (NAB) amendment decision in the Supreme Court has been fixed for hearing.
According to details, the hearing on the intra-court appeal of federal government will be held on Tuesday which will be heard by a five-member larger bench headed by Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa.
Justice Aminuddin, Justice Jamal Khan, Justice Athar Manullah and Justice Hasan Azhar Rizvi will join the larger bench.
The Supreme Court issued notices to the trial lawyers on the appeal of the federal government.
It is pertinent to note that the former Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Atta Bandial had declared null and void the NAB amendments approved by the Parliament, after which the cases of dozens of politicians, including the former President and six former Prime Ministers, were again sent to the accountability courts.
