Islamabad: After the increase in income and control of expenditure, Pakistan's current account became surplus.
According to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the current account deficit of Pakistan has also decreased on a half-yearly basis. In December 2022, Pakistan's current account had a surplus of $400 million and current account was minus $350 million.
Apart from this, there was a deficit of 83 million dollars in the current account in the six months of the current financial year. In the six months of the last financial year, the current account was in a deficit of 3.6 billion dollars.
