The latest reports say that the purpose of the visit is to discuss formation of the next government.

Lahore: A Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM-P) delegation on Saturday arrived in Lahore to meet with Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leadership to discuss the post-election political situation in the country.
The delegation comprising Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori, convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Mustafa Kamal, and Farooq Sattar arrived in Lahore on invitation of the PML-N.
The purpose of the visit is to discuss formation of the next government.
The MQM, according to the ECP results, secured 17 seats in the National Assembly.
Earlier, Nawaz Sharif extended invitations to all political factions to collaborate in steering Pakistan out of its current challenges, emphasizing the importance of collective efforts in times of crisis. While results from the February 8 elections are still pending from the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Sharif stressed the need for constructive engagement among parties.
With 257 out of 265 National Assembly constituencies' results declared, independent candidates lead with 102 seats, followed by PML-N with 73 and PPP with 54. As discussions continue, parties anticipate winning the majority of the 70 reserved seats for women and non-Muslims.
