The court extended the judicial remand of Sanam Javed and Alia Hamza by 14 days and ordered to present them again on March 11.


Lahore: The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) of Lahore Monday extended the judicial remand of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activist Sanam Javed and former Member of National Assembly (MNA) Aliya Hamza in the May 9 vandalism case by 14 days.
According to the details, the Lahore Police presented Sanam Javed and Aliya Hamza before the court after the expiry of judicial remand. They were arrested in the case of terrorism registered in the Shadman police station.
Judge Muhammad Naveed Iqbal of the ATC heard the case and extended the judicial remand of Sanam Javed and Aliya Hamza by 14 days and ordered to present them again on March 11.
The police had requested to extend the judicial remand of Sanam Javed and Aliya Hamza.
It is pertinent to note that Sanam Javed was arrested in the case filed in Shadman police station after getting bail in the case of burning the office of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in Model Town area of Lahore. The police arrested her in the terrorism case number 768.
