Nawaz Sharif accepts PML-Q’s condition of Punjab CM slot
PML-N team will convey Nawaz Sharif's message to Chaudhry brothers today
Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) quaid Nawaz Sharif has accepted the condition of Pakistan Muslim League Quaid (PML-Q) for offering Punjab chief minister (CM) slot to get support of the government ally on no-confidence motion against Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan.
PML-N sources said that PML-N team will convey Nawaz Sharif's message to Chaudhry brothers today.
According to PML-N sources, Nawaz Sharif expressed his support for giving the slot of Punjab CM on the condition of holding early elections. New elections will be held within 3 to 6 months.
It may be recalled that some time ago there was a high level contact between PML-N and PML-Q leadership.
Sources said that a high level delegation of PML-N will meet the leadership of PML-Q this evening. The meeting will be held at the residence of Chaudhry brothers in Islamabad this evening.
