Tariq Bashir Cheema resigns from cabinet
Federal Minister Tariq Bashir Cheema resigned after seeking permission from Chaudhry Shujaat
Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PMLQ) leader and Federal Minister Tariq Bashir Cheema resigned from the cabinet on Monday.
According to the reports, Federal Minister Tariq Bashir Cheema resigned after seeking permission from PML-Q chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain.
“I have resigned from the cabinet, I will vote against Imran Khan, adding that I will issue a detailed statement shortly,” Tariq Bashir Cheema mentioned.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Muslim League-Q has announced to support Prime Minister Imran Khan, claimed Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Political Communitaion Dr Shahbaz Gill in a tweet.
State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib said on Monday that Chief Ministr Usman Buzdar had tendered his resignation to Pime Minister Imran Khan.
He confirmed this announcement in a tweet.
According to Habib, Prime Minister Imran Khan had nominated PML-Q's Chaudhry Pervez Elahi for the post.
The developments came after Speaker Punjab Assembly Pervauz Elahi met the premier at Bani Gala.
