Former Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif attacked in London.
London: Former Prime Minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif has been attacked in London by suspected Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activists, GNN reported quoting sources.
The journalist who reported the incident last night, turned to twitter and wrote, “Action must be taken in Pakistan against the PTI as now the party has crossed all limits,” adding that, physical violence can never be condoned.
Reportedly, the attack was carried out by some 15 to 20 aggressors—who are being affiliated with Imran Khan's party.
PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif demanded that the London police and relevant authorities to conduct a full investigation into the incident and also instructed the party’s London chapter to investigate the matter.
