Gujranwala: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has Tuesday released a new schedule for Imran Khan led ‘true freedom march’ towards the federal capital.

This was stated by former federal minister Hammad Azhar on social media. The PTI leader turned to Twitter and shared an image of the party’s new proposed schedule.

“The real march has become a peaceful revolution, locals are welcoming Imran Khan. Following this the march is moving a bit slower than expected,” the caption read.

The new schedule is listed below, added Hammad Azhar.

As per the new schedule, the long march will reach Jhelum on November 6 (Sunday) passing through Gujranwala, Ghakar, Wazirabad, Gujrat, Lalamusa, Kharian and Sarai Alamgir.

On the other hand, PTI General Secretary Asad Umar, while addressing a press conference, said: “I have submitted an alternate plan to PTI chairman for the ongoing long march,” adding that the march might reach Islamabad with a delay as it was originally scheduled for November 4.

The march resumed its journey today towards Islamabad from Chan Da Qila Gujranwala.

The highly anticipated long march started from Lahore's Liberty Chowk on Friday.  Flanked by all central leaders, Imran Khan is leading the PTI's march towards Islamabad.

The march was earlier expected to enter Islamabad on November 4 after passing through Kamonki, Gujranwala, Daska, Sumbrial, Lala Musa, Khariyan, Gujjar Khan, Rawalpindi.

Imran, along with his supporters, is expected to stage a sit-in in Islamabad against Shehbaz-led coalition government after the march ends.
