FM launches “Stars Programme” for Facebook monetization in Pakistan
In a video message on the occasion, he said: “Pakistani creators can now earn money of their content through new Facebook stars feature”.
Islamabad: Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari visited the Asia Pacific headquarters of Meta (Facebook), based in Singapore, where he launched the “Stars Programme” for monetization in Pakistan.
This will contribute to capacity building of young entrepreneurs as a valuable tool for Pakistan’s growing number of Meta content developers.
In a video message on the occasion, he said: “Pakistani creators can now earn money of their content through new Facebook stars feature”.
The Foreign Minister pointed out that about two billion people use Meta platform every day and we want the people of Pakistan to also take benefit from it.
He added that, “Meta is working and investing in Pakistan and providing opportunities to our women and youth”.
Bilawal explained that this star monetization feature will help our people bring improvement in their economic conditions.
