Robbers take away cash worth millions from Hafeez's house
The police say that the robbers who entered the cricketer’s house through the wall have taken away 5,000 UAE Dirhams, 20,000 US Dollars, 4,000 British Pounds and 3,000 Euros from his home located in DHA.
Lahore: The robbers deprived of Pakistan former captain Muhammad Hafeez of case worth millions of rupees, the Defense-A police said on Tuesday.
The robber took away 5,000 UAE Dirhams, 20,000 US Dollars, 4,000 British Pounds and 3,000 Euros from his home located in DHA.
The robbery took place when the family of the cricketer was not at home.
The police registered the FIR on complaint of Shahid Iqbal who informed the police that his niece told him on March 6 that the robbers entered into the house through the window, broke the locks of their bed rooms and took away the said amount.
The Complainant told the police that the robbers could be seen entering into the house through the CCTV footage and the incident took place between 3 to 4 am of the night.
Muhammad Hafeez is representing Quetta Gladiators in ongoing HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL 8) these days.
After registration of the FIR, the police said they were investigation the matter and would soon arrest the suspects.
