Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb on Sunday termed Imran Khan's statement as a confession of his involvement in violent incidents following his arrest in a corruption case.
In a statement, the Information Minister said attacks on sensitive installations, buildings, ambulances, children, schools, hospitals, mosques, animal markets were planned by former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his party.
She said Imran Khan and his followers are behind the desecration of the memorials of the martyrs and ghazis of the nation. The Information Minister said Imran Khan's statements are the proofs through which his followers destroyed the public property in the country.
In another statement, the minister said Imran Khan is trying to drag institutions into politics for saving his skin in corruption cases.
In an interview with a private news channel, she said Imran Khan is regularly criticizing the state institutions because they have a complete record of his corruption.
The Information Minister said the recent violence incidents in the country have blatantly exposed the fascism of PTI Chief.
