Key to Dr. Aafia's release lies in Islamabad: Senator Mushtaq

Washington: Senator Mushtaq Ahmad Khan said that the key to Dr. Aafia Siqqidui's release lies not in Washington but in Islamabad.

According to details, Dr. Fauzia Siddiqui had a second meeting with her sister Dr. Aafia Siddiqui in Fort Worth jail in the presence of Senator Mushtaq Ahmad Khan and lawyer Clive Staford Smith.

Penning down the summary of three-hour long meeting, Senator Mushtaq wrote to Twitter: “Aafia’s, health was weak and her eyes were getting teary again and again”.

According to Mushtaq Ahmad, she was continuously asking to be taken out of this hell.

At the end of the meeting, Dr. Siddiqui was taken away in chains.
