FIA has established a four-member committee to investigate the incident and target human traffickers.

Islamabad: In response to the devastating Greece boat tragedy, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has swiftly taken action by establishing a dedicated four-member committee tasked with investigating the incident.
The decision to form the committee was prompted by the National Assembly's intervention, as Speaker Raja Pervaiz Ashraf emphasized the urgency of taking strong measures against those responsible for human trafficking.
The tragic incident unfolded when a boat carrying numerous migrants, including Pakistanis, capsized while attempting to enter Greece illegally from Libya.
Speaker Ahsraf urged the government to address the matter and address the grave issue of human smuggling.
The FIA committee, comprising Inspector Hadi Parestan Tanoli, Inspector Abdullah, Inspector Waqar Awan, and Sub-inspector Irtaza Ansar, has been assembled specifically from the anti-human trafficking section.
The contact information of the committee members, including their email addresses and phone numbers, has been shared, urging individuals to provide any relevant information while ensuring anonymity.
