One killed, several injured as roof collapses in Lahore’s Kamahan

The deteriorated roof of a house fell nearby Ashiyana Road in Kamahan, killing an old woman and injuring five other family members severely on Monday.

The Rescue 1122 ambulance service was notified by neighbors, who also started their own rescue efforts. Six injured people were extracted from the rubble by locals and rescuers, who then transported them to the Lahore General Hospital.
Naik's wife Hameeda, 70, died from her wounds. Hussaini Bibi, 70, Fiaz Ashraf, 17, Kanwal Ashraf, 20, Noureen Ashraf, 16, and Ali Ashraf, 12, have been named as the injured.
