Toshakhana case: Khawaja Haris separates from Imran's legal team
On the other hand, Barrister Gohar has denied the speculation of Khawaja Haris’s separation from the team.
Islamabad: Renowned jurist Khawaja Haris Thursday separated from the legal team of Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan in the Toshakhana case.
According to details, Khawaja Haris decided to leave the legal team due to concerns over discipline in the team of Chairman PTI.
The sources told that after Khawaja Haris dissociated himself from the case, Latif Khosa and other lawyers will now represent Imran Khan in the Supreme Court and Islamabad High Court (IHC).
Sources informed that Haris has sent all the files of the case to Chairman PTI's legal team as he will not appear in the court for the hearing on the petition for suspension of the former prime minister's sentence in IHC.
Khawaja Haris did not appear in the court even in the hearing of August 22. He will not be a lawyer in the petition being heard in the Supreme Court related to Tosha Khana case, added sources.
On the other hand, in a major development one of the member of legal team Barrister Gohar has denied the speculation of Khawaja Haris’s separation from the team.
