IHC bars police from arresting PTI’s Afridi, Shandana until Sept 28
Shandana appeared in court with Sher Afzal Marwat as her attorney.
Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Wednesday barred the police from arresting PTI’s Shehryar Afridi and Shandana Gulzar in any other case until September 28 (Tomorrow).
Justice Babar Sattar of the IHC heard the petitions Shandana and Shehryar Afridi submitted to the court asking for the suspension of the maintenance of public order (MPO) to be revoked. But Afridi was unable to show up in court.
Shandana appeared in court with Sher Afzal Marwat as her attorney.
In regards to the magistrate's authority, Waqar Rana, the court's assistant, concluded his remarks.
The second assistant will give his arguments tomorrow.
