According to Ibrahim Murad, 1,511 pollution causing transports have been stopped in the last two months.


Lahore: The Transport Minister Ibrahim Murad Tuesday ordered to ban the use of smog-causing vehicles and motorcycles in Lahore.
To deal with smog, the transport minister has directed the field staff to be proactive and take strict measures, stating that no exception should be made to the transport that causes smog.
The Transport Minister said that in the last two months, crackdown has been initiated against 8,348 vehicles and motorcycles. While the authorities have also taken strict measures against 4,682 vehicles that do not have fitness certificates.
According to Ibrahim Murad, 1,511 pollution causing transports have been stopped in the last two months.
