IHC bench hearing Imran’s appeal against jail trial dissolves
Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir separated himself from the bench hearing the appeal for former Prime Minister.
Islamabad: The bench of Islamabad High Court (IHC) hearing the appeal against the jail trial of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and the appointment of judge has been dissolved.
According to the details, Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir separated himself from the bench hearing the appeal for former Prime Minister Imran Khan against jail trial and appointment of judge.
Justice Arbab Tahir said: “I agree with the observations given by Justice Mian Gul Hasan on the first hearing, the appeal should be appointed in a two-member bench consisting of another judge besides me”.
After which a new two-member bench comprising Justice Tamman Rifat along with Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb was formed that will hear the appeal today against the jail trial and the appointment of the judge.
